I’m working on the layout of my image piece now, and I can’t really find a title that I “love” the way it goes with my piece. I was wondering-could I leave my image piece untitled?

Try “The Mother Daughter Book Club” by Heather Vogel Frederick or maybe the Bayern series by Shannon Hale. Both would probably appeal more to girls than boys. Either way, I think you’d like them. Also, you might want to look into reading “My Brother Sam is Dead” which is about a boy during the Revolutionary War. It’s pretty interesting if you’re into historical fiction.

    Hope this help!! :)

Try books by Margret Peterson Haddix too. Good luck!

  57. Zac Pear said

Mrs. Kelly, do we have to do a illustration for the title of the book? Or just the pages inside?

  58. Sarah R. said

    Mrs. Kelly-
Here are my three answers to # 1&3 of the questions:

#1- I’ve learned may things about advertising but the main thing that I’ve learned is that they’re everywhere, since we see them so often though, we tend to not notice them. An example of this is when you see buses, they can be like advertising kings but you rarely notice them.

#3- Advertising plays many roles in my life. I think that the second most important role is commercials. You see so many commercials when you watch TV but and their job is to make you want to go out and by the item that they’re selling, from experience I have to admit that they do a pretty good job at it:) Also, one of the most unique ways to advertise is by what we wear. When you look closely at what people wear you realize that we’re all unique walking advertisements. We advertize and with the smallest little detail you are advertizing that piece. Usually, people never realize it.

For some reason, I only have 11 words. I checked on the hw page with the words on the top. There are only 11. Should the total number of questions for the quiz be 22 of 24 questions?

    Katie

How long should our TV ad be? For my groups commercial we’re basing it off of, it’s about 2 minutes, would that be fine? Or should I make it shorter?

  63. mrskelly6 said

    Drake,

You can create the illustrations on a separate piece of paper. Keep it black and white. Let’s conference on Monday.
